As always, the training session was very interactive on the topics of Ideal and purpose in life / Origin of conflicts and restoration of peace / How to apply theory to real situations / Universal principles and AfP declaration. Almost every slide arose a lively discussion that allowed all participants to have many new answers and insights. Especially the Cain-Abel relationship within ourselves and among each, on the individual, couple, family or national levels made us reflect on the work each one of us has to do on ourselves to create peace starting from "me".

The evening session started with the presentation by Susanne of the "human rights" as one essential instrument for achieving peace. She showed different video clips on several rights that made a deep impression on all. Many people, especially women, don't know their rights and are exploited or treated badly thinking that this is normal. The knowledge of human rights can make people reflect on behaviors like lack of respect for others based on beliefs that one's religion, social status or race is superior to others. Distributing materials to let schools know about these rights and make people aware of how they need to treat each other with equity and respect is one of Susanne's goals. Her presentation was followed by discussions on other tools for developing the mind towards peace like meditation, yoga, reflexions on universal principles, recognizing and overcoming fallen nature, etc. All of these lead to peace and feeling happiness, which is basically every human being's desire.

After the evening discussion and the delicious meal, certificates were awarded to three Ambassadors for Peace: Georges Akiki, Susanne Kasack and Moly Molango.
